"End of the Spear" Opens Today
I'm hearing good things about this incredible true story of murdered missionaries and the families that never gave up on the savage Ecuadoran tribe. (Jim Elliott, husband of Elizabeth Elliott, was among the dead.)
Cal Thomas reviews the film here.
Remember, opening weekend is critical in the movie business....

Looking forward to seeing this one. What an incredible story! I was talking with my brother (the missionary) and he was telling me that they did eventually discover why the tribe murdered the missionaries. In case it's in the movie, I won't give it away. But GO SEE THIS ONE!

Thanks, Carter. I mentioned you yesterday--at IKEA, I-10 & Silber. I bet you've been there, but it wasn't you yesterday! I knew it wasn't, because the girl was definitely not Kelly. But I asked anyway. I tried to explain that 'Carter' was this guy on the net whom I haven't personally met but who looks just like this tough, hairy dude at Ikea. Anyway....
By the way, I saw an hour or two interview on Daystar about this film. Book was written by the son of one missionary--who later grew up with and lives with his family among the tribe. (But clearly in a missionary/pastor role.) I expect a great story, no matter what. Hope to see it tomorrow evening.

BTW, I know you live nowhere near H-town just now. Who does anymore, you know?
